I find an older study (from 2008 or so) more interesting. I can't find the link right now, but it is out there: Poor(<30k/year) people living in an urban environment have just as many smart phones and wide screen TVs as the rest of us.

You can do that in facebook too. Just click on the "Account" tab up on the top, and then click on "Edit Friends" and it will give you tons of options (but few buttons.) I haven't had the chance to check out google+ yet, so maybe it is easier to do (I would love to be able to physically drag the names of my friends to
