Yeah, never heard “California Stop.” In addition to being uncommon, it’s pretty uncreative too lol.
I’m not quite as deep in as you yet, but I’m finding that more than ever in GT Sport, it’s the lack of g-forces (on your actual body, cuz it’s a video game) that create the biggest challenge to maintaining grip. The previous game was super forgiving about mashing the throttle, even with assists off. I’m trying now to…
What’s your criteria for a real sim?

In love with the fact that this is one of the more “reasonably” priced used Harleys out there at “way overpriced” instead of “laughable, pipe-dream overpriced.” Thank you for the opportunity for Jalop Bikers to take a collective shit on the used Harley market.
I know this is way off topic but I just started reading and how could an editor at the Globe leave this floating “And” here to just f*ck up the impact of what’s being said?
Here in Austin I believe the local police department actually made this clarification formally - that texting at a red light was fine, but as soon as it’s time to actually move, put it away. I wonder if more explicit guidance from law enforcement about that would encourage people to at least wait til they got to a…
Really good point. Even just a new system for suspensions would be useful - I imagine if a texting driver even lost their license for a week they’d think twice about using their phone in the car.
Wow, that was metal. I’m with you 100%. People don’t think enough about consequences, and this would damn sure change that.
Took one of these, exact same spec, for about a 4-hour joyride through the VT countryside in July 2017. It was a unique experience, and every time we stopped for a picture I got to spin the wheels out of the gravel pull offs and mash up through the gears with that lovely short-throw. Poster child of “slow car fast”…
I’ve been prepared to screech about this, but I like it ok. I hope the “grille” is a front tailgate... “Frailgate”? Range, price, utility, looks, all seem good for a family CUV. Calling this “the future of exhilaration” is pretty shameful, but that’s the whole industry. So yep, count this naysayer officially turned…
Ah man. They must have cut the scene where the older gentleman waves at his younger neighbors who gather up their children to wave as a family to the nice man creeping by barely over walking speed in a contraption that helps him get outside but stay inside because boomers have worked hard to enjoy their neighborhoods…

Autoplay video is the worst, but honorable mention to full-screen popover ads and the header ad units that screw up formatting so when you scroll to start the article, the ad loads and then you’re halfway down. Infuriating.
I think there’s evidence of this happening, too. They’ve been hosting rallycross and classics racing and other smaller events that pull some attendance, and the Cars and Coffee meets in the lot seem to be more frequent. I just hope they can reach a deal on a new F1 contract. I think COTA will quickly meet the same…
Haha why is the joint company switching to food?
But I’m with you (minus one letter)- Mazota just feels like a good car brand name.
Maybe it can be! It’s the perfect moment for small mid-engine cars to come back - now we just have to say it loudly and often enough to make Toyota believe.
Haha yes, the creep. He’s made a mistake and doesn’t know what to do, but it’s your fault and could you hurry up and end his two-way-stop purgatory already. At least ignoramuses in traffic keep the daily commute interesting and educational!
