Basically, that whole “leaving 12/31" list has validated my deciscion to cancel Netflix at the end of the year, basically after I’ve watched the Irishman. Too much original content I don’t give a fuck about, not enough “comfort” fare.

Precisely this. I’m 100% on board with never seeing a real living animal in a movie ever again.

I guess I’ll get it if it’s the only way to watch Donal Logue play Dan Harmon on Dummy.

Mandalorian takes place 42 years after Phantom Menace. Yaddle mysteriously left the Jedi Council after the Battle of Naboo, Yaddle took a “less active” role in the Jedi Council, kinda like how Peggy took a “less active” role at Sterling Cooper toward the end of Season 1?

What I’m saying is, The Child is Yoda and

You call that a good time? Jesus.

When it first aired (in five installments, which I taped off the TV over the course the week, cutting out opening and closing credits and ads in real time because I’m 43) the theme to GI Joe The Movie was the best thing I’d heard since “A View to a Kill”.

I was going to poke fun, but then I remembered that I used to think that it was “end’s meat” (like, the most essential meat, the bare minimum of meat required for survival). Also, I thought stardom was “Start’em,” like the quality of really being able to get things going.

What’s the etymology for “Brass Tax”? Like,

This would make more sense if I’d posted it in response to Arcanum Five’s comment.

I can’t find it now, but I’m pretty sure one of the early promos for Watchmen showed Dr Manhattan, wearing a suit, leaning over to pick up a Dr Manhattan mask. Not sure this is supposed to be a secret. Just like the Owl Ship being shown in early promos. Easter eggs for fans, cool visuals for the uninitiated.

Steenburgen’s journey to Nashville, where she now owns a home

The real question (if you ask me) is, now that Nathan Fillion is aging out of the roles that Bruce Campbell aged out of 20 years ago, who is our go-to actor for wry, lantern-jawed scoundrels?

Noted, all around. I should probably just get off my ass and go see the movie.

I saw this movie yesterday. It’s not very good.

Referring more to “a mneumonic [sic] device that Park’s character … sings with her brother … in order to remember the more pressing details of her alias, Jessica.” Seems like more plot detail than necessary.

Man, nothing like a good pile of raw onion to power through Friday afternoon.

Maybe just a little “Possible Spoilers ahead” up there near the top would have been nice.

Neither did Previn, by her own account.

I expect this to be a very productive conversation.

Wasn’t this posted yesterday? I know I watched it yesterday, and this is the only website I look at . . .

Aaaaand mark it. “OK Boomer” is dead. Time of death: 10:28am.
