Well I agree that they haven’t thought through the implications of their threats, and second thoughts will probably prevail.

I am quite a trickster.

Are they both annoying white australians or something? I’ve never heard of the “Dr Luke Show” and “Kesha” sounds like a name of some white girl try-hardin to be a hip-hop...which is very Aussie.

Unfortunately for Kesha, she had multiple opportunities to address this throughout the years and didn’t. Not reporting it, signing with him a second time, continuing to work with him, testifying under oath it didn’t happen. I haven’t even seen any indication that she reported it to Sony and asked to work with another

I’m getting paranoid, maaaan!

I am confused. Can you provide some kind of link that explains?

Isn’t this what Sony has been pushing all along, that she’s free to record with any producer? Also, he has allegedly drugged and raped her, correct? Why does she call him her “abuser” and not her “rapist”?

Have we just, as a society, dispensed with the notion that if you’re a victim of a crime you should you know ... alert law enforcement rather than wait 10 years and file a civil suit? I’m not callous enough to dispute Kesha’s claims, but I feel like by not dealing with it through the official channels, the optics wind

Oops, I accidentally liked your post, so I feel compelled to respond to make it clear that I feel the exact opposite.

I don’t know, you’re doing significantly better than I’ve seen him do in quite some time. I think it’s the “dear”.

You’re welcome...now ‘bout dat freee read’in...lol

As a Independent with Democratic leanings...I find this hilarious. Should the Repubs play hardball with the Dems...eh, they have been super whiny for like 8 years. It’s been really disgusting. I mean, from both sides it’s been political war; yet the Elephants in the room have been straight whiny assholes. I’m not

Honey, dear, baby, I love the way you type.

There is nothing in this twitter feed that would constitute a reasonable defamation claim.

She is a public figure.....i.e. a tough road to hoe for a defamation case

So tired of Jezebel’s dishonesty. “Gottwald added that because he was raised by a “feminist mom” and has a sister and daughter, he couldn’t possibly rape anyone—because we all know that logic is ironclad.

Man gets accused of a serious crime that damages his reputation, takes the heat on twitter for weeks, responds that people should be cautious and not declare him guilty before a jury does (ahem: Jezebel), and this is what you call it?

As a male who has been sexually assaulted, and someone who writes regularly about the criminal justice system, I want to say, I’m exhausted by this preemptive witch hunt... It’s a proven fact that when someone is given a ‘trial by media’, it becomes progressively more difficult for a fair verdict to be reached.

I’m curious: is there anything at all he’s allowed to say?

What’s wrong with his tweets? He has the right to defend himself on twitter if Kesha has the right to repeat allegations there.
