I looked at it as her tearing up “their” ish. They shared that space for years, and acquired possessions together. Remember Lawrence referencing the pillow “Frank Ocean.” I saw it as her saying eff the past while letting out her long-supressed anger.

But it’s not fine though. That’s the crux of what’s wrong with these characters . . .they’re passive participants in their lives, either through suppressing their feelings or being too easily influenced by others.

I think people are wilding out in their criticism of Daniel.
