Can I ask a serious question about American cuisine?

I know a lot of people love Clarkson, but frankly I watch it for May and Hammond and sort of tune out Clarkson - it's kind of like watching Hockey Night in Canada and ignoring that Don Cherry exists...

I used to get emails like that too from an Aunt (along with hugely religious and outright racist ones too). Eventually I emailed her and politely asked her to stop sending me forwarded emails and she got all insulted and started to berate me.
