It's actually quite common in the Asian community - I have at least four Asian-Canadian friends who cannot eat raw apples (and some pears too). I had never heard of it before I met them when we were teens.

You're implying that marriage is only a Christian thing when in truth it was originally not a religious contract at all. And a marriage NOW, whether you see it as such, is only legal when it's actually (governmentally) legal - regardless of a persons' religious beliefs.

I'm an atheist, but both my parents are agnostic. When I asked my dad, who is incredibly educated and smart, why he's not an atheist he casually said "well, I don't think you know something about God that I don't."
See I disagree with that second part mainly because I'd see it not as having lied to God, but having lied to the people who do believe in him.

Neither my sister or I want actual children, and my mum has taken to referring to our pets as her grandkids. She legitimately loves the pets, but I can't tell how much of that is her trying to guilt us.
