No.
No.
Repeat after me, everyone: Friends don’t let friends wear flatforms.
I love that you’re going into great detail about what makeup was like for decades that not very many people are all that crazy about. Everybody always goes on and on about 50s glamor, 60s mod, 80s bold, and now 90s grunge makeup, but no one ever really cares to talk about the 20s, 30s, and 70s, which all have very…
ALMOST OLD ENOUGH TO GO TO THE CLUB
I got 71. I’m 25. Thanks, Obama.
Wait. Please tell me that is an exaggeration and that people do not actually pay $300 to get their brows waxed.
I must confess 1930’s eyebrows leave me a tad...skeptical. The thin arch makes them look skeptical or surprised, in my eyes. You of course look lovely Alex, because you have such large lovely eyes, but those eyebrows usually don’t work on most faces.
Yeah, I mean, obviously brows are something that are not one-size-fits-all, but the crazy super thin line is one of the more unforgiving trends. There are a few people who can pull it off, but brows are like booze: Best enjoyed in moderate amounts until you just sort of lose control and then WHOA what happened here oh…
1960s will be soon! First 1940s/50s (SPOILER ALERT: A lot more pastels were involved than people care to think) and then into the super fun crazy liner and white lipstick and bonkers looks of the 1960s. I’m excited to get further into the later years because there becomes way less of a super general “everyone is…
I really like this eye look. It's simple but still defined. I can't pull off a lot of eye makeup so this might work for me. Those eyebrows however are giving me grade 10 flashbacks. In 2003 I thought it was a really good look. It was not.
Welcome back to our series on the history of makeup.
I DEFINITELY thought it was sarcasm. 75% the things coming out of Joan’s mouth are drenched in sarcasm and snark. Which is why we love her.

This old lady wouldn’t be caught dead in most of their stuff, but the stuff posted here is always super cute and the prices are insanely low, like is the decimal in the wrong place?
I think a lot/most of their stuff goes sizes 1 - 2 - 3 for S - M - L? I’m a 10/12 and usually a 2 (though I rarely find anything I like there). The 000 is probably equivalent to about a 0/2 in “normal” sizes.
Jane Marie: I am just like...confused by your love (is it love?) for Chicos. I was always under the impression it was for women of a certain age...and you're not that age! And neither am I...but some of this stuff is...wearable?
I think the american sizing is different than it use to be. Also, the sizing may have been using UK sizing?
My 7-year-old wears a size 2.
Exhibit A:
Jadine said it was because she did not put a moisturizer with sunscreen on before the foundation, which was the number one reason makeup can feel heavy.
