If you were going to splurge on a skin product, what would it be? How about a lipstick?
What are the top skincare products you think are really worth their salt?
I feel like there should be a whole series of What Can We Glue To Our Nails Today. Rhinestones? YES. Sequins? Maybe! Fruit stickers [how many plums can you eat in an hour]? Dooo iiiiiit. Are you a crunchy earthy type? A single elegant piece of oatmeal or a lentil omg.
Hi! I'm Gigi, and thanks for the tip! I love Sephora, but they are few and far between unless I go deep into the OC or LA malls. There is a great one in Pasadena, so may hit it up, see what happens!
I love Jane Iredale powder blush and eyeshadows! They are so perfection in color and application. A little goes a long way, a little more and hello evening look. I am a longtime addict to her Dubonnet blush and Taupe eyeshadow.
The color IQ as lifesaver is so true! I have never liked wearing foundation because it always felt like my face couldn't breathe. The color match showed me as 1r06 and picked out several brands of foundations in a color that is 1r06. I went with Hourglass liquid for fancy night out and Bare Minerals loose powder for…
You NEED to show him this!
I think the looks are somewhat dependent on the social/financial makeup of your area, and I would be interesting to see the city v. suburban look on the same reviewers. For instance, Santa Monica or Los Feliz (trendy LA where my friends live while they still drink heavily) v. The Valley (where my LA friends go to…
This is the first YSL foundation I've had, so I can't compare/contrast, but the shade is perfect - not too orange or too light (since, although I try to be diligent with sunscreen, my chest and shoulders are always more tan, and neck lighter, making it hard to find a shade that won't give me that jaw-line…
I used the NARS Ceylon compact for a long time, and it is awesome. Even better in my opinion, however, is the YSL ink foundation in B30. Sinks into your skin a little better, lasts longer, and transfers less.
Thank you for the recommendation. I need to buy foundation, and I don't think the shade I have is a good match for me. It's been quite a while since I've shopped for foundation (I have little ones). I've been thinking about taking a day off of work just for myself to go to the mall and maybe even read a magazine! …
You are all beautiful ladies, but those Mac folks did y'all dirty—- and I say that as a general fan of Mac-style heavy makeup.
I foresee this coming down to Netflix vs Sex, and frankly, I don't know what I'll do. Sex, obviously, but Netflix is there for me when Sex isn't. I can't say the reverse.
Team Watching a Drunk Girl Yell at her Boyfriend, then
i was about to vote 'sex' but at the last minute thought "PARMESAN TRUFFLE FRIES" and changed my vote to restaurant.
For Christine, maybe it's just the lighting...but I feel like they really Bart Simpson-ed your skin out. It looks so yellow!
This series is SO MUCH FUN!
Yes, please! Tell us about your match and skin type and coverage needs. This is the place to wax poetic on base make-up! :)
I like these! The first one is super cool—nice eyebrows. I do feel like the artist in the second one got ambitious with the color palette, but the components are nice. The last one it seems the artist listened to the client and gave her a look compatible with her comfort level that she could recreate herself. I am…
