I agree with almost everything you say. But Katrina did not send Abbie back in time. I don't even think Katrina knows Abbie is there. I think Abbie went running after Katrina, got too close, and was unexpectedly sucked into Katrina's spell.

I didn't mind this episode as much as the reviewer did. And I will say I do think it's you with regards to McKenzie and Baccarin. They've shown more chemistry in 5 minutes than Gordon and Barbara have to date. So if you dislike the pairing of the cop and the doc, and think they have zero chemistry,how do you feel…

No I don't think so. For me, I found it to be more fun and entertaining, rather than scary. I enjoyed the characters of Myrtle Snow (who had some terrific dialogue) and Madame LaLaurie. Kathy Bates made it for me last season.
