I think the difference is Tune-In streams internet radio (shoutcast) as well. Based on the description Rad.io just streams radio stations.. through the internet. hope that made sense :)

pretty much if you're on Froyo (2.2) up all you have to do is press and hold the 'Search Button' like Slacklinejoe said or from any app that brings up the keyboard to enter text you can press the 'Mic' key and it'll bring up the voice thing. I talk to my phone to send email, txt and IMs all the time.

you'd have to do some clean up work but it would get you at least half way there. they forgot to match the original noise so the roads look static compared to the rest of the shot. pretty cool though.
