As I understand it, the US no longer targets civilian populations as a matter of policy.

What’s surprising to me is just how bloody *fast* the missile gets up and away.

Oh, look: Pointless contrarianism.

The discussion I’ve heard is that the New Republic did a huge draw-down of forces, largely disarming after the mop-up of the Imperial remnants.

Presuming you live in the Northern Hemisphere: Try taking a Vitamin D gel (1000 IUs) every night before bed (esp. if you drink regularly), and a B-complex first thing every morning.

The plan consists of eating three tacos per day for one month.

The comments seem to largely be on the quality of the performance here and her unusual mannerisms and sometimes-very-effusive personality.

I dunno if I have perfect pitch or not, but the performance in the video hurt to listen to for me as well.

This is not a good argument. Besides being ignorant of how insurrections generally work, it also suggests that there is no value in resistance to tyranny in itself, regardless of the success or failure of said resistance. That’s just...dumb.

The problem with this entire line of thought is that it requires one to accept that the Second Amendment is alone in the Bill of Rights in using “The People” as a collective noun (though there could be some argument made for a similar usage in the 10th Amendment).

Can’t make people pay to exercise a constitutional right. Shit, you can’t even make people pay to exercise a *non-constitutional* right (voting).
