And for waiting until the day before election day to endorse Fetterman.  What the fuck was that about?  Why did she wait?

I guess I can applaud a tech bigwig just flying his sociopath flag out there rather than hemming and hawing about it.

I liked Batwoman’s ‘Alice’. I liked her story and whenever she was around things got fun. Rachel Skarsten really sparked things up.

I just gave it a chance since I gave every D/CW show a chance and... i was SHOCKED at how good it actually was. Didn’t realize it was gonna be more of a team show from the start but it’s basically the Junior JSA, which ended up not being as dumb as it sounds. Not as good as Superman and Lois, but def better than the

You missed out. I have no patience for teen angst, but this show was fun, witty, and sincere, and did it all without falling into the “Only teenagers know what’s up” trap so many other shows and movies (and books) do. Luke Wilson in particular did great work.

This whole thing makes no sense. They found out it’s a lot of older people watching CW so they want to make programs that appeal to older people. But older people were watching the CW because they liked what was on there.

No surprise given the network sale and other cancelations but this really sucks.  The show was great, I loved seeing The Shade on screen, and Brec was fantastic as Stargirl.  Hopefully HBO Max picks this up or something

Or the song about the Heat Miser, who wants to rid the world of snow and cold, thus ruining Christmas (well, in the Northern Hemisphere anyway, the Aussies have always had it as a summer holiday). Of course that possibility isn’t quite so implausible these days.

Is the AVClub going to put him in the constantly-updating creepy deaths-of-2022 slide show? I haven’t seen it since yesterday, so it’s about due.

He regularly referred to himself as a genius, and a lot of people wanted it to be true and just acted as if it was clear and self-evident. Good rule of thumb, though: actual geniuses don’t tell you about their genius. That’s just a label, meaningless to them. They’re too busy seeing the world in a way that only

He’s so virulently anti-Black. Like Clarence Uncle Thomas levels of self-loathing.

Loved Knives Out, can’t wait for Glass Onion, but honestly, so far the most interesting thing about the character of Blanc is the meta question of who’s playing his partner. “Rian Johnson Mystery” is the selling point for me, not Benoit Blanc. I am hopeful that this movie changes that.

No, I would imagine that losing your child and then being told it never happened and was just a political stunt is what hell is like.

This documentary better not have any crane shots.

The Jaunt is a great short story. There’s barely enough for a half hour Twilight Zone episode. But then, they made two movies out of The Lawnmower Man.

I thought part of the problem with At the Mountains of Madness is that Prometheus came out and GDT felt the plot was too similar.

It’s weird that “You either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain” is from a Batman movie, because it’s a pretty astute take.

Nah, they just knew EXACTLY how the boys on Twitter would react to a sex positive female superhero.  This attitude isn’t new, and these guys make it stupid easy to bait a reaction from.

There was a “Daredevil Hallway Fight” for his fans, and Jen messed it up before it got good.

Hudson Leick! (She was who stepped in for Lucy Lawless for that swap - also played an antagonist.)

I didn’t realize there was a Matt Gaetz biopic in the works.
