Take a gander at this guy- tryna start a pun thread.

I’m surprised no one mentioned the Beatrice Lahr Easter egg- Bert Lahr was the actor who played the Cowardly Lion in Wizard of Oz.

Lahr- as in Burt Lahr, who played the Cowardly Lion.  It was a nice little Easter egg.

Supposedly, Moe and Larry made Curly shave his head because, with hair, he was too good-looking.

Great- now I’m going to have “Magical Misery Tour” running through my head all day.

To the extent that I try to rationalize it- we know this takes place in a different universe than the main CW-Verse, if only because of the Jay Garrick Flash.  So, I just assume that the history, timelines and fashions of this universe differ from ours.  They kind of stuck with a 50s aesthetic, or, perhaps this is the

“I am controlling this with my mind!”

They used to spray a lot of fluids into the audience- it was welcome because it was mostly colored water, which helped cool down the mosh pit.  As an added bonus, you would get a lot of stares when you stopped off someplace to eat after a show and your clothes were covered in fake blood.

The closest we’ve gotten so far was an episode of You Must Remember This, when Karina did a season on Hollywood blondes.

The look on O’Dowd’s face as the lift for his wheelchair slooooowly rises is priceless.

“What kind of disabled?”

Oh, man!  I loved hating Ashur!

The original is my all-time favorite movie, so when I first heard about the remake, I was a bit concerned. But, given its pedigree and this trailer, this might be the movie that finally gets me back into a theatre.

Robinson took the Shade from being (in my eyes) a typical Golden Age B-List forgettable villain and made him into one of my all-time favorite DC Universe characters. I hope that this series will do him justice.

Make that raccoon Little King Trashmouth, and we’ve got the Stargirl/Bob’s Burger crossover we never knew we needed.

I think Scott was eventually made an honorary member of the Corps, so maybe they’d take his kids in to train them.

I got a laugh out of that. I once went grocery shopping with my mom who consistently buys the smallest sizes and quantities of items because she only cares about the final price, not the actual price per unit. I tried to explain to her how bulk is cheaper and did some of the math for her, but all she said was “Yes-

Her best season was the one on Charles Manson, IMO.

You might be right- remember how, after Zak Snyder completely screwed up Watchmen, WB decided to never let him handle another DC-related project again?

Good News, Jonathan- you’ve got Kryptonian powers, too!
