Are you purposefully being dense?

And if you cared at all about dev history you’d know that as a studio, Clover Studios did not develop a single DMC game. Hideki Kamiya had moved on by the time it was formed. I can’t believe I have to repeat this again, but, Kamiya wasn’t in Clover when he created DMC. He was a part of an internal studio at Capcom.

What the hell are you talking about? Platinum Games never made a Devil May Cry game. Hideki Kamiya may be a part of PG, but the DMC franchise came before PG was created. Kamiya was a part of a team at Capcom when he created the franchise. Get your facts straight. If you’re talking about Clover Studio, you’re still

By that logic, why haven’t they made Devil May Cry 5? You don’t like DmC, that’s fine. Stop making shit up.

You and I played two different games, apparently.

Now playing

That’s a fair criticism. But it’s not like the bar was set high in terms of characterization in the previous DMC games. Every character, including Dante, are pretty hollow. And of course there’s this gem:

I’m convinced that the majority of people still shitting on new Dante, still haven’t played DmC. If they did they would shut up.

IIRC it’s a late model that never came to America and has a few features removed.

So, to get back on topic, (and this part is just pure speculation on my end) I think part of the reason SSBM still exists in the competitive scene is that Nintendo allows it by not engaging the community at all. Capcom, NetherRealm, Namco, and others go out of their way to promote their latest games and add prize pots

Okay, why do you think I have jealousy towards Smash events then? What did I say in that sentence that leads you to believe that I, personally, care one way or another? Again, you asked a question and I answered. It was a simple conversation that you took off course for whatever reason. I mean, you said you’re not

Where are you getting petty jealousy from? I’m merely having a conversation with you. Don’t get defensive.

That was a horrible analogy and you know it.

The people that complain are complaining because Melee gets either equal or more attention than four. People may play older Street Fighter games but the attention is firmly focused on 5. Can’t say that about the Smash games.

Who says they were going for realism?

I’d be worried about black-suits watching me while I have the headset on.

Its easier to sign off on putting up a ROM for sale, than to port the HD version. Lazy & cheap? Sure. But cost effective.

It was the CD drive itself that I think did the trick. You can tell the difference by the way the trays looked. I believe this to be the case since that Halo disc was pretty banged up.

I remember that halo loading screen! On my first xbox, it would take forever and stop like you mentioned. But on my second model, you would barely see that screen. The glow would pass by fast.

What an obnoxious headline.

Gonna have to slash at least $700 from that price to get me to switch from my Chromebook.
