It did keep a plot. I'll give you that. But was it as memorable as the first? I don't think so. I'll remember more the shocking things that were done in that book and not for the right reasons. (Don't want to say what they are. I don't want to spoil it for the other.)

Patricia, you bring up a very good point about "prestiging." I never understood it. You're telling me I did all that hard work just to hit the reset button? I understand its a rank-up, but it sure doesn't feel as such. For that reason I don't play much Call of Duty. "prestiging" just feeds to some kind of compulsion.
