"I had my eyebrows threaded." I don't really want to know what that means.

Likewise — have restored several times but only files and folders, never a whole drive. I STRONGLY recommend people have multiple backup methods. Whole drive situations would be recovered via local drives; the online backup would be in case something really horrible happened.

Yes, works on Mac (though you have to be running Java, an annoyance, but a liveable one).

Not sure about NTFS but it's easy to find out — try it. It's free to back up to another drive. You'll know quickly if it works for you.

I used to just save up my purchases by loading them into the cart and ordering when I exceeded $25. Worked fine.

I totally love everything about Crashplan except that it uses Java which, on a Mac, is problematic. They have talked about a Javaless version forever. Sure wish that would happen.

There is a big difference between choosing a job because it makes a lot of money and choosing among your passions to select one that returns a living. The non-lucrative ones make great hobbies.

Oh! Didn't know it was a limited offer. Thanks for the followup.

Not a direct comparison (because plastics and metals use different test fixtures) but copper's Rockwell Hardness is B40-B50 and Lexan (polycarbonate) is M70. Copper is quite soft. I would not be surprised to learn it won't scratch polycarbonate.

Refrigeration greatly extends the shelf life.

Store it in the refrigerator. Lasts much, much longer.

Costco has a Big Green Egg copy called the Kamodo (I think). Costs less and people say it's much like the BGE.

I have a Weber Smoky Mountain smoker (in addition to my Weber Genesis). User satisfaction ratings are very close ti the BGE's, but it costs 1/4 as much. I love mine. Last week, I made four racks of ribs,

I've had a Weber Genesis grill for 15 or 20 years. I've replaced several parts over the years (especially the grates, two or three times — nest time will be stainless). I really, really want a new one but the thing is so solid and dependable, it's hard to justify replacing it with one of these sweet, shiny new things.

Thanks for this. While it may seem trivial to some, I gave up on fava beans because peeling the skins is so tedious, and every recipes tells you to. I am going to give them another go.

One of the joys of food is variety and appreciate anything that adds another delicious ingredient.

Shaking the between two bowls works. I've done it. But if I can plan ahead, if I need a lot of garlic for something, I buy peeled cloves. It's a cheat but a good one!

True!

Way more complex than it needs to be.

"Start with a sleep study." Better: "start by seeing a sleep specialist." They can decide pretty quickly of a sleep study is in order. At-home testing is becoming much better, too.

Regardless, if you have daytime sleepiness, don't let it linger. Proper diagnosis and treatment CHANGED MY LIFE. Dramatic? Yes. True? Yes.

Handy tip. But I think Foursquare is incidental to this. Just Google "wifi free xxx airport" (where xxx is the airport). For instance, "wifi free sjc airport" or "wifi free seattle airport" immediately reveals entries that tell you there's free wifi at those airports.
