Say what you want about Alex Trebek but hosting a game show is a great job.

Huge, Super Dick. I’ve wanted to start a blog to post clips of him being derogatory and dickishly smug but I figured he’d find a way to sue me or something.

My friend and I used to watch Jeopardy and laugh at how much Alex Trebek hates life. The chit chat portion is always super awkward and he has, over time, consistently developed serious crankiness. He is just waiting for the sweet release of the grave.

Alex Trebek is the worst. I love it when contestants will just blurt out the next clue they want and not let him ramble on, usually after they get one wrong.

This exactly. Trebek is kind of a dick, when you really start to look at what he says to these contestants during the “lets fill in three minutes of showtime with stupid banter” segments. This one though takes the cake. My guess is as he’s getting older his filter for saying stupid shit is weakening. They let this one…

Wait, the guy with a naked upper lip who’s been hosting a quiz show for 30+ years is calling someone ELSE a loser? Lame.

Ugh, I have such a complicated relationship with BC. I am on Yaz, because it helps acne a lot, and I used to have TERRIBLE PMS, like non-strop crying, can’t work, can’t function, angry, sad, etc...and now it’s much better. I also do not want to have a baby. But I almost feel resentful bc I feel like I am chained to it…

Did the study control for those sexually active? Who are in heterosexual/homosexual relationships? Because my first reaction is that BC can prevent you can getting pregnant, but it’s not going to control the quality of your relationships which may or may not lead to depression in itself.

Girls you need to go talk to grandma. Ask her to help you understand words like “suffrage” and “disenfranchise”. If you want to give up your right to vote you can, just don’t show up. But it means you literally are saying “I don’t want my opinion or my problems to matter”.

Not to mention that you can use anti-depressants to manage/treat anxiety, which is what I do. I know it doesn’t treat all types of anxiety, but it can help some.

Live through a Scandinavian winter and you’ll understand why they post such high depression, alcoholism and suicide rates. The lack of daylight is really hard on some people.

I was surprised to because you always hear about Nordic countries being among the happiest. More evidence that anti-depressant use isnt necessarily about clinical dpression I guess.

I didn’t know that Denmark was known to have some of the highest rates of anti-depresssent use. Is it because of the availability of providers? Or maybe less stigma? That’s interesting.
