Dear AV Club,

…AVClub has subscribers?

I've never seen Drag Me to Hell because I would never agree to be dragged to hell!

You poor snowflake.

Carpenter Brut.

I'll be honest, I've always been kinda glad Superman 2000 got scuttled because undoing the Superman/Lois marriage was a big part of it. And in a really dumb way, too.

That original pitch by Martin and John Jos. Miller was so much more interesting than what DC did with it. It was going to be an Elseworlds that spanned decades with the villains being forced to build a semblance of society or die off. DC dug up that decade old thing and decided, "What if we just sent them to another

Both this and Grosse Pointe were a little too clever for the WB at the time.

It's akin to DC building a crossover around CPS coming after all the heroes.

Found a quote from Millar about the delay/change in artists from 2002, a few months before the first issue was released.

—because of its extraordinarily high murder rate!

He took two things he likes and combined them in a way that's both incoherent and inexplicable. And in fairness to Zack Snyder, that's the level of creativity in most Youtube mash-ups.

Ditto Before Watchmen. He was reporting on it months before DC announced it. I think I remember they sent him takedown notices over it.

Winner. He even already has the prerequisite "friend/co-worker who betrays Barry" secret identity.

Savitar is totally Future Barry! Just like Season 1 Wells was Future Barry and Zoom was Future Barry.

Yeah, relaunching the line but keeping it so similar to what they're currently publishing is a strange choice.

Tarr leaving does mean we get Motor Crush from her. I'm really looking forward to that.

This is an insane comment.

This book has been great.

Her time as Batgirl was retconned out, but she was brought back with the new (and kinda awful) codename of Orphan. She's part of Detective Comics right now.
