Of course I have, but that's an all-or-nothing approach.

History has shown that Apple tends to launch a product using the registered trademark of another company and buys it off them afterwards.

The IOS notification system is pretty poor but I wouldn't hold Android's up as being that great either.

Whilst it's nice that they've done this, lets not get too ahead of ourselves with the praise.

Taking IMDb ratings and assuming that anything 8.1 or higher is considered good, then there were 6 films in 2010, 6 in 2009, 5 in 2008, 5 in 2007 and 7 in 2006. In total, the last 5 years have produced 29 films which have scored 8.1 or higher:

As was pointed out many times in the comments section of that site, if you're going to do a comparison and leave out Evernote then it's not a very good comparison.

I'm not convinced they are being "shifty" with the numbers. My understanding is that units shipped out is the only metric that companies like Panasonic have because once the TV's have left them, there is no obligation on distributors and retailers to report back to them with the sales.

Oh dammit, looks like I've been needlessly pressing Ctrl and Shift all these years :) Thanks for the correction people!

Worth noting that if you press Ctrl+Shift+Alt and then Print Screen then you'll get a picture of just the active window rather than the whole screen.

Exactly!

Every application has its own updater. Microsoft should allow installed applications to register themselves with the Windows Update service as an additional source to check. It would mean all updates are checked, downloaded and installed at the same time in a completely unobtrusive way.

I went to MWC, saw it and played with it.

Assuming this is true, then it means that we won't be seeing this notification system at the launch of iPhone 5.

God I hope not, the Android one is better but is still pretty bad.

This story just shows how poor a concept the "no-fly" list is and how it stamps all over civil liberties.

I'd avoid the PSP-3000 and look for a second hand PSP-2000 running software earlier than 4.0. You can then install custom firmware which allows you to not only play a bunch of emulators but also to load your UMDs onto a memory stick.

Given that an Atom N330 Dual Core (found in my Asus EeeBox PC EB1012) handles 1080p video perfectly, I'm not entirely convinced you need to spend all that money on a Core i3. Especially when your graphics card is doing all the grunt work of decoding anyway.

@laim1991: I'm a fan of the Omega Speedmaster Ocean Pacific myself!

@DaveyNC: In short, yes. All of Apple's products have had poor antenna design which means they are more sensitive when there isn't a strong signal. Hopefully with the recruitment of antenna engineers - they'll get it right by the 5th version.

I can't believe you missed out the classic:
