I was mixed on the NYer article. I felt it was a little bit contrary and apologist for Ravi.

I loved Scully (I appreciate she has a real name) in Bleak House - she can definitely do restrained period-piece drama. While Elizabeth McGovern does do a fantastic job, the more I see Scully, the more I love her and want to revisit the good seasons of X-Files.
While I thought Downton could never be improved, I would now kill to see Scully as Lady Grantham.
My local news headlines read: 'Santorum takes Deep South' and - thanks to Dan Savage - I threw up in my mouth a little.
I agree about the blamestorming. But in this case, I like to think of Gerard Butler as Ursula from The Little Mermaid; hellbent on destroying an otherwise virtuous match. And having tentacles.
That is actually a vampire film I would want to see. Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, and anyone else from the early 90s with epic hair - Immortal.
I'm not into Twilight so forgive me if this is a silly question, but do all vampires *need* to have insanely huge hair? It's like they modelled them on Vanilla Ice.
When Baby Gideon was going through the exorcist stage and would fill the leg of a onesie with crap, a friend of ours (also a Dadzilla) would refer to it as a piping bag.
One wonders why, exactly, they show videos of everything else in antenatal classes, yet this somehow doesn't make the cut?
Love Buzzcocks. But God I miss Amstell.
Thanks for the crazy eyes, Jezebel!
I have been desperately waiting to hear the whole 'girls like guys to be assholes' thing be refuted with some science and FACT(TM). But your tale is a nice humanising one.
I was never into Xena, but I would totally watch a docu-drama called Lucy Lawless: Whale Protector.
Mine is a character from the Mighty Boosh. For those who are unfamiliar with its surreal, oblique comedy, this is a snippet:
Why are we gendering FB? Can't we all agree that, in general, social networking supports the Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory: [www.penny-arcade.com]
I'm kind of confused by your position. Which is not to say that I see it as bad, in any way. I'm just not sure if I get it.
No judgement intended - just an FYI: a lot of DS children (and fetuses) have very pronounced heart defects, which is why they are aborted.
Oh, God. That is depressing.

Yes, yes. Mary, I think, knows herself and her boundaries well and I don't think the would agree to anal. Because I can't watch that episode again if I do.
