I think I'm glad I finished it, but the creep factor was very high. I guess I just didn't see why it had to end up in the place it did.  I've read a couple of other books by this author, specifically Harbor, which if I remember correctly also gave me quite the case of the icks.  Not that that is necessarily always a

This is not actually a very good description of this book, which spends a lot more time on the development that happens before Theres and Teresa even meet.  It is an extremely creepy book, one that while I was reading it, I was not sure I was going to even finish, and when I did finish I was kind of sorry I did.

I agree so much!  If tapping my phone against someone else's transfers what I want it to, how can I keep it from transfering what I don't want? I don't like the idea at all! (And I don't need any technical reasons why it'll work - I still don't like it.)

The thing that bothered me about that is would the same scientist be working on both of those things?  It seemed unlikely.
