I am in the greys, but since we are talking about bengals, I am adopting this little princess on Saturday and cannot contain my joy! She’s half siamese half bengal and I have named her Leia, please enjoy the gif

We can’t let this happen. Not right now. Not again. Not ever again.

I was almost not going to post this one because it reduced me to tears and my friend is threatening to take my laptop away from me unless I go to sleep, and I don’t want to put you guys through everything I’m dealing with.

Another woke little dude. Saw this on twitter.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas...

This is the best part: “don’t forget them other cities” includes the Antarctic!! WHOOOOO!! Let’s see ANY other protest top that!

My 4yo daughter at the march in Shipley, West Yorkshire. Town of about 15,000 and turnout was ~1,200. She wanted to make sure she would still be able to be the boss when she’s older. She and I are both dual US/UK citizens so definitely have some skin in this game.

To be honest....I’m only half there with the women’s march. I agree with everything about it but it occurs to me that if we had even half this amount of political motivation during the election we wouldn’t be in this sorry state of affairs.

At first I was like...aww bless him he can’t figure it out. And then I was like...wait...what if Dubya is taking a page out of Biden’s prankster book and he’s aware of the camera and pantomiming suffocating himself at Trump’s inauguration? I’m going with the latter.

I needed this. I think we all need this. My friend and I created a list of our 100 day plan because Trump’s depressed us. Day 1: eat a new candy. I chose Mexican candy and it was delicious.

Calliope music.

Thank you for the nice things. But today, oddly, I can’t stop thinking about Melanie Trump. I wonder what goes on in her head. How does she really feel about her husband? Obviously, she married him for his money, but does she like him at all? Or does she hate him to the bone? And how does she feel about all this

This picture is a nice thing:

Basket of puppies for y’all...

Hmmm... I haven’t read anything via audiobook, but I can see how a narrator’s voice or intonation would color a book. I’ll probably have to put off the book until February break, and just read other less interesting/important books until then.

Same. I read The Likeness and The Secret History back to back, and found so many similarities in the relationships between the friends that the groups’ closeness seemed parallel. A few years later I read them both again — back to back!
