Funny. Except for the fact that generally Democratic Michigan is under a Republican plutocracy. Can we defect en masse to Ontario? The UP is basically southern Ontario anyway, maybe the Lower Peninsula can be Western Ontario and just call the border good at Lake Michigan?

Yeah, you can’t just count population. Michigan has huge volumes of freshwater, grows more variety of produce than any other states except FL and CA and has a connection with Canada (for runs for Coffee Crisp bars). Think of it like settling a new land: where are the most important resources located?

I’m surprised I haven’t seen more comments on the need for a good reciprocating saw, ie. Sawz-All. If you live in an old house like we do and are doing any kind of remodeling, you NEED a Sawz-All.

Don’t be afraid of Harbor Freight for tools you will use a couple of times or sparingly at best, especially hand tools. I’d be wary buying drills or saws there, but their hand tools are surprisingly competent.
