Zemeckis did a great job with a lot of the camera work. The entire movie was an homage to Alfred Hitchcock.  In fact in the one scene where the TV comes on by itself it’s playing the movie Charade.  Charade was considered the best movie Alfred Hitchcock never made.

Cooper scared the hell out of me. Stupid dog.
