I’ve always been of the belief that if you’re feeding your child, then you’re doing it right. There are a million legitimate reasons why a woman can’t/wouldn’t choose to breastfeed, and a million legitimate reasons why a woman can’t/wouldn’t choose to do formula. Just feed your baby and you’re doing it right.

I mean, I can’t star this enough. SOLID.

Isn’t the idea that he was supposed to start seeing him before he was killed (#spoileralert), or am I making up plot points here?

THANK YOU.

On a difficult work day, this story delighted me to no end.

To be fair, Felicity Huffman is an Oscar-nominated actress, and made her name on Desperate Housewives (which was a huge hit when it came out). Lori Loughlin on the other hand, I had no idea she did anything other than Full House.

Casefile is the number one podcast I recommend to anyone interested in true crime, mainly because of the detail and care with which the podcaster deals with the victims and their loved ones. There is far more detail about the victims and their lives prior to the crime than any other podcast I’ve encountered.

That’s true, and an excellent analogy.

Thank you for the clarification. She specifically uses that term to refer to her mobility, but I can definitely see how that could be problematic.

“. . . a whispery Marie Antoinette in cheap business separates.”

In Dickensian England, she probably would have argued that it’s wrong to tell children how to live their lives or what “being a child” really means, and therefore denying them the opportunity to grow and seek upward mobility in workhouses is really not in their best interest.

Good LORD fuck her. The fact that she is equating a guaranteed minimum wage for workers with nepotism or inherited wealth just shows how off the reservation this entire feckless first family is.

UGH. I’ve adored Selma Blair for years, the idea that she went undiagnosed and unbelieved for so long is devastating, but so glad to see she’s finding peace with a diagnosis. I’ve seen someone close to me who is deep in the throes of MS (32 years old and wheelchair bound at this point) and it is incredibly painful to

I would say that the ultimate failure of this movie was how much it revolved around Cooper’s perspective. The previous versions of ASIB, the woman was the center of the film (seeing as how SHE is the star that is born), which actually makes his decline feel more out of control and heartbreaking. But, I guess since

This is a beautiful tribute to your wife and Queen. I think those of us who were raised/grew up on Queen tend to have a VERY strong connection to their music. I’m guessing I’m close in age to your daughter, but my mom adores Queen, was fresh out of high school when their music made its way state-side, and Queen has

Fucking THANK YOU. He consistently throughout his entire life referred to Mary as “the love of his life.” There was no gay erasure as so many people keep insisting because he himself tended to identify more as bisexual from all I read, mainly because of his love/relationship with Mary. He often mentioned her as his

To the point that they too even have a gratuitous karaoke moment.

I have seen that, and it warms my heart.

Stranger Than Fiction. LOVE that movie, everyone in it is fantastic.

Very specifically named for the Marx Brothers. And they were also the two albums that featured Seaside Rendezvous and and Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon, which are very 20s/30s inspired.
