Thank you. And I’m sorry your story is denied. Attempted assaults can do just as much for a person’s trust and security as an executed assault can. I’m hugging you right back across the waves. :-)

Many, many hugs to you.
My abuse happened as a child; from 5 weeks to 4 years old. I didn’t remember it until I was 12 (recovered memories). Now, it’s all “that was so long ago,” “it shouldn’t have any effect on you as an adult, you were so little,” and “at least you weren’t ACTUALLY raped.”
It took me FOREVER to place who was doing the voice for Odette; I thought it was Idina Menzel at first. But it just all feels so off.
I feel you on Leap! Apparently, it was an American re-release of a (French-Canadian?) film, which I think is why the voice work feels clunky and disconnected (not accounting for the actual bad acting/writing). But, the fact that in the 1800s the lead is wearing rolled denim shorts and leggings drove me NUTS. Also (and…
I know, it seems odd that she hasn’t yet given her stellar body of work thus far. But, I suppose a bottom line is a bottom line, even with the more “serious” pictures. Although I will agree with another poster on here, that I have no idea who goes to see a movie just because Mark Wahlberg is in it. Does he choose…
She’s not an Oscar winner; four-time nominee, but not a winner (unfortunately). He is a one-time nominee for performance (The Departed), one-time for producer (The Fighter).
My love for this show runs DEEP. To the point that I watched Tia and Tamera’s Oxygen reality show in its entirety, and squealed out loud when Jackee showed up.
Oh my god, yes! I go there basically anytime I am in the vicinity.
I do, though with regards to the deYoung it mainly has to do with the special exhibitions I’ve been to.
True, true, but I’m pretty sure all of those are public, with some level of either state or federal funding.
DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THE $38 ENTRANCE FEE MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM.
San Francisco museums, which are all excellent, are all on the higher side; Legion of Honor and deYoung are $15 general admission, SFMOMA is $25, and Academy of Sciences is an insane $36 ($26 for kids. KIDS.)
That was my assumption. “Well, there’s no way this isn’t getting out, so we may as well minimize the damage.”
Yeah, it’s been referenced a few places as an “affair,” but it sounds like it was far more sinister than that. The actress in question actually quit acting after they worked together, and there are rumors that it completely (understandably) broke her and she left Hollywood as a result.
There are a few, but I think the one that might be the most damning is in reference to accusations of rape on a movie set.
Sorry for the hysterics. But I have brought this point up to numerous people and no one knew what I was referring to.
OHMYGODTHISISEXACTLYWHATIWASTHINKINGSINCEITWASANNOUNCEDCANWEBEBESTFRIENDS?!?!?!
I have an idea as well, and it’s not Kirk (though this is the first I’ve heard of this blind item).
“Proof” is arguably one of her best roles. I was very doubtful going into watching that movie (because I LOVE the play), but she is fantastic.
