THANK YOU.

Thank you for saying "psycho hose beast."

Interesting. I, too, would rather finish things than not, but I don't see how that has anything to do with politeness.

THANK YOU.

I literally snorted reading this.

That's a pretty blanket statement. One could easily point out that American culture propagates the idea that it's okay to make sexual demands of and degrade women. This is not a good enough reason to support the hugely racist overtones of this thread.

"Their culture is so very different than ours. They're not educated about simple things like morals and sex. A lot of them think incest is okay and very normal."

Well, since you stole only diamonds and not the pearls or gold, what you did wasn't technically robbery, since you left some things. You're free to go!

That woman gets better and better looking every year. My girl crush has grown exponentially.

Agree.

I can understand that completely. I guess I was expecting him to have a total stream of consciousness kind of acceptance speech, I just passed it off. But looking back, I can see how it would definitely read as dismissive and disrespectful.

I get so damn torn with Woody. On the one hand, there is nothing more disgusting, more despicable, more terrible in my mind than a child molester. On the other hand? I honestly believe he is a truly great artist, who has written some pretty incredible roles for women. I adore his films, and yet I struggle so hard

Interesting. Maybe I was just giving him the benefit of the (stoner) doubt and guessing that he rushed/mumbled them out of a "crap, I'm totally going to pronounce these names wrong, maybenoonewillnotice."

Thank you.

Ugh, THIS.

I should have also mentioned the officiant asked the same thing to my husband's parents "who supports this man in his marriage to this woman?"

I love you, and I will follow you wherever you go on Pinterest.

My dad walked me down the aisle, but he was asked "who supports this woman in her marriage to this man?" and he responded "her mother and I do." I liked that a lot more; parents offering their support in my personal decision rather than handing me off like their property.

Excellent, excellent point.

I am finding all the mega-conservatives on my Facebook feed (and there are surprisingly A LOT) are all up in arms about "First Amendment rights" and how what he said about the homosexual community "isn't all that bad." They seem to be completely ignoring the whole racist, anti-civil rights section of his rant, which
