But he can step off making fun of Ina Garten. That woman is a damned good cook, and her recipes always work. You know if you’re using something she wrote, it has been tested to within an inch of its life and the results are reproducible. Sure, she’s privileged, but she owns it and she is good at what she does.

i don’t know. I believe even some small show of support is better than none at all. Even if it is just an overlay with the Tricolore. It’s essentially harmless and shows you at least care about what’s going on.

Social media/hashtag activism may not be the most effective of mediums for change but I loved the solidarity I saw for France on my FB feed. It reminded me the support the US got directly after 9/11.
