Mr. Rogers is my antidote to overwhelming sadness, too. Thank you.

Probably my favorite movie adaptation of Shakespeare. I'm still blown away by it all these years later.

Unless they're home schooling and never taking their kids to a birthday party, ChuckECheese, or public park, or letting them walk around without surgical gloves, they're not just making those decisions for their own children. They're potentially exposing other children to deadly disease.

We've come to this weird point in modern civilization where calling something a "different choice" implies that it is an equally valid decision, as though vaccinating and not vaccinating are simply two equivalent sides of the same coin. They're not.

Vaccines come with a very small risk. That is an indisputable fact.

When their decision directly effects the safety of my own child, yes, they should be shamed.

I think the state has a duty to protect children from abusive or negligent parents.

I think people with compromised immune systems shouldn't have to get sick, or go deaf, or die because other parents ignore the actual evidence.

Except that failing to get your child vaccinated affects the herd's ability to ward off diseases.

She's boldly gone where no female sci-fi character has gone before- we can't see her boobs or her butt at all.

Oh I'm so sorry, it's so sad to put a pet down. They are such great companions, and it's so hard to let them go. I'm sure she loved you just as much as you loved her.

Oh my god I am so sorry. My mother just lost her rescue terrier, and I literally cannot think about when my bait dog rescue might pass. Major internet hugs- I am so sorry for your loss.

If your teeth can't blind another person in the sunlight with their whiteness you will die an old, reclusive crone!

When I heard that Justin Bieber wrote that in the Anne Frank guest book, I was peeved. He comes off as self centered and I have much more respect for Anne Frank than I do for Bieber. I think Anne Frank was a bit more preoccupied with, I don't know, hiding from the most evil forces of her day rather than asking herself

It's still unbelievably fucked-up for your main takeaway from the story of a child who was murdered and became an enduring symbol of hope in the face of man's inhumanity to man to be "I bet she would have had a crush on me."

It happens. Today is a new day. You can not change what you've done. You can only remember how crappy you now feel and make better decisions today, and tomorrow, and the next day...

While it is unfortunate that a woman threw pubes at Jackman, it is, also, fortunate for the opportunity it provides to ogle his handsome visage.

Even though it's about how dickish Byron was?

I see you made an account just to rabidly defend Byron, so nothing anyone says here will alter your opinion.

There are plenty of books and articles describing his manipulative affairs with married and damaged women. One actually killed herself when he abandoned her. He didn't bother visiting his children for eight

I don't have much to say, but I thought I'd leave this here for anyone who needs some Sunday inspiration.
