There are female analogs to business suits. In my profession maybe 98% of female attorneys dress like attorneys should, then there’s maybe 2% who will tend to dress like slobs(not really my choice of words, this came from an older lady attorney with 30+ years of legal experience), ie cocktail/sun dresses in Court. I

Yeah, based on the two or three emails the guy read in that bottom video, that’s exactly what it was — “she looks like she didn’t make it home from a cocktail party last night,” not “too much skin!” I think the controversy is misplaced here.

Wait, are you saying that you don’t openly condemn someone based on vague interpretations of hearsay accounts where no parties were named?

You must be such a misogynist.

because the only reason I know of those rumors is because of this site.

Gawker has been caught pushing bad info before... so...

Right. This is her exact quote about it from the Nerdist podcast. She doesn’t say it wasn’t him but she EXPLICITLY takes Jez to task for setting the internet mob on it.

I mean, he also has a family and is busy with a farm probably other endless work stuff... at some point I get tired of holding everyone accountable for other people’s behavior just because they don’t feel it is their job to publicly condemn every person who has done something awful. Like, can he just be Jon Stewart at

I’m pretty sure Jen Kirkman explicitly denied that it was about CK, which seems like a big omission considering how pissed she was at you all for tying her to CK in the first place.

All these people who read the adult Dylan’s descriptions of the grooming and abuse and still think Mia made the whole thing up need to explain that. I would just love to hear how that’s normal and fine.

Is it just me, or does Woody Allen make the same movie over and over for the most part? So many of them blur together and most of them are annoyingly self-aggrandizing. I don’t quite understand the culture of adulation around this man.

“forcing her to suck his thumb”

I hate that meme. It’s been in my FB newsfeed too. And the people who post it appear to be totally serious about it without any ability at all to reflect on the fact that Bernie’s cranky old white grandpa persona actually does have emotional resonance with many of his followers. His followers have said misogynistic

Yeah, I’d like to support the sisterhood on this, but I just can’t, mainly because I despise him just that much. If Melania didn’t know what she was getting into by marrying the controversial rich asshole, accent on “asshole,” that’s kind of her problem. Some small part of me thinks she is seriously wondering what she

Yes! I have also been saying this because I believe a good chunk of Bernie and Trump voters would unlikely to have voted without charismatic anti-establishment candidates. I also think there will be fatigue in the long campaigning process that will keep people home (the “protest voters”)

Stop trying to make Bernie happen. He’s not going to happen.

That won’t happen if we don’t ALL get out and campaign for and vote for progressive candidates in state and local elections.

Bernie has also proven on numerous occasions that you can outspend your opponent and still lose. Which was the case for him not long ago when he outspent Hillary and lost multiple times.

I contend, as a Bernie primary voter myself, that anyone who “refuses” to vote for Hillary in the general probably wouldn’t have even motivated themselves to vote if Bernie won the nom, anyways.

I guess the upset is that it wasn’t an outright loss?
