I bought one years ago. it’s incredible. A must-have for pet owners or I suppose people with actual children, lol.

I’m looking at buying a 70-100k mile TJ in the next year, hopefully a nice rust free/just surface rust for under 9k... I don’t expect japanese reliability, but those things are easy to work on, cheap to fix, and will rust away long before the engine dies. I want to turn my sports car into more of a track focused thing…
Remains the best FPS of all time.
Yeah, in a climate where designers have to make the OUTSIDE of cars pedestrian-safe, there’s no way in hell a steel dash like the old cj is getting into a car.
Honestly, there really isn’t a comparable vehicle. The roof/door/etc aspect of the wrangler puts it in a class of one. I LOVE the recently deceased Toyota FJ - but I want the drop top of the wrangler.
I love this. Honestly i’ve always kind of wanted a wrangler for dd/winter use and this (a decent interior) makes it even more enticing. I really like this new generation the more I see it. It’s a great mixture of traditional styling from a distance and modern updates up close. Super cool.
I was about 12yrs old. My uncle collected cars (had a rotating warehouse of around 30 cars at a time). His collection was initially (mostly) british sports cars (MG/Austin Healey/etc) but later evolved to 60's American Muscle.
The answer is Raptor.
I remember when this car came out - loved it’s design then and it STILL looks fantastic.
Wouldn’t that be the point of an article?
CTS-V WAGON
They fixed the ONLY thing that is bad about the coupe - that dumb ‘floating’ roof that everybody thinks is a good design idea.
An electric hybrid assist type of setup would be fantastic for the 86 powertrain. That low-mid range is all that is really lacking, and knowing the electric motor could add tons of torque to get the revs up easily means the engine could be mapped to be even MORE top-end heavy like a S2k / RX8 with NO sacrifice.
Pilotwings for sure.
Didn’t decide until this morning to get moving a bit early to try at a couple target stores on the way into work. The first had a solid line of over 50 out front at 730, so I kept driving to the next one. I got there at 745, and was 14th in line. Easily got my SNES Classic! No ebay/craigslist. I bought it for me!!!
First thought was also the 90's 8-series. SO awesome.
I really like that green-gray metallic “lake stone” color.
So, my only big notice or perhaps flag... What is the 5100 dollars between the base model and the 2.0 “premium” bring to the table? Surely more than leather seats for that much money...
I also hate the floating roof thing. It has never looked like anything more than a design element for the sake of making something different but not acutally good to me.
I saw one NEARLY this clean on the road yesterday on my way home from work. In the 90's when some cars were starting to get overstyled with huge wings, vents, etc these seemed a bit dull.
