Both are really great, and more entertaining to watch than most of the men lately. I’m a Rousey fan, but after watching the lead-up documentaries, I really respect and like Jedrzejczky as well. Tomorrow night will be fun!

So, you don’t have an emotional bias or agenda? Is it that hard to believe that the longest veteran still active in the sport noticed what Marquez was doing before everybody else did?

On the contrary, I think all anybody needs is a pair of eyes to see what Marques DID and DIDN’T do this season.

It didn’t keep Rossi from passing. Marquez wasn’t even leaning hard behind Lorenzo - he was not even trying to pass him. When pedrosa slipped by, he turned on his usual mode and flew for 20 seconds, then just coasted behind 99 again.

Exactly. Marquez never ignores a passing opportunity for the past 3yrs, and somehow is unable to find a gap to try on Jorge foray entire race? I’m obviously a tad salty because I’m a Rossi fan, but he clearly was correct weeks ago when calling out Marc for sandbagging.

I love these cars. They fall into a (rather large) group for me. The group is: really cool, but not cool/fun/etc enough to be my FUN car. Sadly, most vehicles fall into this camp, especially “hot” versions of normal cars.

Red sports car does not mean mid life crisis. It means I want to be as excited to walk up to it the thousandth time as I was the first. It’s not a cry for attention, I honestly don’t care what anybody thinks or doesn’t think of me.

See, I think i’d rather have Inara with me for a long trip :-)

This appears to have a similar mechanical layout to the Piaggio MP3. The key advantage this design has, is that it LEANS in the corners like a 2-wheeled motorcycle. Leaning is the key factor that makes the other three wheelers fail to be comparable to a motorcycle.

Could’ve looked better, SHOULD’VE had a non-historic name. But they are terrific cars to drive. Amazing seats, great engine, decent fuel economy (highway with a 6-speed), and just a really great low-key road car.

FR-S/ BRZ/ GT86

It’s not off road, but I autocross and HPDE, with the ram mount mentioned above. Holds the phone for a lap timing app. It’s seen 1.3g in corners and the thing hasn’t ever moved from the mount.

I don’t buy the stuff, but I work for a retailer’s corporate office and have seen most of it in our prototype store setup areas for months. Most of it looks great. I see why people are excited (and pissed - in the case of the ones who got skunked).

I am a lifelong motorcyclist. I have done track days on sport bikes and have crossed the United States on Harleys. I’ve crossed rivers on a BMW GS, and have lined up on a drag strip before as well. SO, I have multiple angles of opinions that may HELP you get it, but not sure you ever really will...

Autocross. Find a local event this weekend and mount a few go pro cameras. I’m dying to see how it does.

In defense of the Tiguan:

I honestly never understood the complaints of Dinklage’s performance. The main one centered about how dispassionate (robotic?) when he was basically playing a robot?

Every case is different. If you don’t have enough cash to buy a car outright, and you’re financing the vehicle, it is often worth buying new/nearly new just to keep maintenance/repair costs to a minimum while you are making those payments.

Exactly. A normandy replica (or N7 armor) without branding/game logos/etc would’ve been infinitely cooler.

Interesting donor motors that come to mind (not researching what will/won’t fit, just for fun):
1) 2.5/2.7/3.2 from a front collision Boxster
2) FA20 from an improperly drifted FR-S
3) 2.0T from a VW/Audi
