Seriously. I thought one of the standout aspects of the episode (and a way it distinguished itself from general horror movies) is the straight up empathy Darius expresses for the brothers, even when he knows he is in trouble.

...just like Get Out is a blaxploitation version of The Skeleton Key?
The Migos White Cheddar Puffs with a DAB of Ranch were actually pretty legit. But then they switched up the Migos flavor and now it sucks.
Those “well-traveled” “adventurer” dudes also really seemed to struggle with figuring out how to paddle a canoe.
Even Phil raised an eyebrow at that, like “Why is this grown ass adult throwing a lethargic temper tantrum on my mat?”
I agree 100%, but I also felt like the episode came perilously close to some kind of “gender essentialism” message. Sam’s reaction to the bathroom situation (along with Max’s rebuff of her ignorance) was iffy in my mind already - but then the show makes a point of having Frankie sing along to “Only Women Bleed” which…
No explanation - just a cut to the 2 dudes riding in her car, leaving you to connect the dots to her other interactions with questionable men throughout the episode. Loved it.
And weirdly, pretty great as the voice of Batman lately (especially in the Harley Quinn series).

Who is worse: Pastel Goth Kent or Pea Puree Alex?
The season he and Amber did on Amazing Race was actually what turned me around on him. Always good-natured, always smiling, and genuinely great teamwork with Amber.
“Men with Ven”
This ep (obliquely) referenced both Sound of Music and Mary Poppins!
Big Easy in costume as a Giant Chimney Sweep had me chuckling.
Then there’s the episode where Scooby gets sent to an “Animal Asylum for the Criminally Insane,” complete with a Hannibal Lecter-esque bird monologuing behind glass. This episode also featured a murderous Terminator Scooby and a mech loader fight straight out of Aliens (that’s two James Cameron references for the…
Now I’m mentally replacing Arnzt with Russell in the s1 finale of LOST.
I just did a “Meachum Edit” rewatch of season 1 before starting 2. Fast-forwarded through every scene that didn’t feature any of the 3 Meachums.
dear lord.
And she listens to Titus Andronicus! I’m starting to like this girl.
