KLR’s only burn oil when you’re in the upper part of the revs. On my 92, if I spend extensive time above 5k I need to keep an eye on the oil. It needs maybe a 1/2 pint every other tank if I spend the whole time on the interstate at 80. Keep in mind 5k is about 70 mph in top gear.
