@MopZ: There is no stopping this franchise-hopping warrior's bloodlust for collectible monster pelts.

Steam is showing the potential power of digital retail, mainly because of the ridiculous sale prices they put up. Cutting out the extra costs of boxing a product and then having a willingness to sell something at a cost far below the typical game price range seems like a hell of a good concept for moving a lot of

And thus the future prospects of Mario power-ups were assured for generations to come. If Mario should ever end up in the Fallout universe, he'd better bring along some Nuclear Mushrooms.

@Cobaltios: I dunno, looks to me like 5 million + people would beg to differ.

Could you imagine a Monster Hunter vs Pokemon crossover? Every person in Japan would buy four copies. That's two each of the Grayscale Version AND the Plaid Version.

@Skunky: Me? Not like password? That's unpossible!

@Skunky: Or, ya know, people that would just want to see names and ease-of-use in their online encounters rather than an archaic and cumbersome system involving a dozen numbers.

With those words, millions of gamers screamed in anger, all in unison. And in this particular fantasy, Nintendo hears those wails and knows what to do.

For one thing, go the cartoon-ish route. Base it off of the really old nostalgia cartoons and DO NOT try to get realistic with the thing. Basically, stick with the iconic imagery. It worked well for Transformers: War for Cybertron.

Ah, logos and brand marketing. It's big ground to cover. Lot's of times it's the brand that sells instead of the product. Ask Nike, Apple, or Tommy Hillsomethingorother. Still, as far as game publishers go, haven't seen that much of a need for a strong corporate logo. There are the keen gamers that know what each

Eghads! It's like a Mario universe as done by Chris Cuningham! For further reference, watch this equally haunting and disturbing video by said director for Aphex Twin.

In the history of Sony's "worst kept secrets" ... this is the "worstiest".

Aww maaaan... on the very day I delete my Facebook account, too. But kudos to bringing the faces and names to the forefront. Kotaku is full of talented people, and they deserve that extra bit of attention and adoration. What you write on here will suffice for me.

@mtfmuffins: Perhaps instead of putting sticks there, they are touch-sensitive stick pads? Sort of like a touch pad on notebook computers. Not sure if that would turn out well, but it comes to mine.

Sony: "PlayStation Phone? What? Huh? We know of no such thing! Silly rumors..."

@BananaGladiator: Can't really, but recall a leak at Shoryuken.com mentioning this trait. Either way, hope that would be the case, as otherwise it seems to be a suicide manuever with the life-draining. From what I gather, it is her last-ditch attempt at winning a match, becoming incredibly powerful.

@SixTwoSixFour: Also, beyond having 5 bars of Super, Phoenix needs to have both other characters KOed before becoming Dark Phoenix.

@IncrediBurch: Haggar has always been somewhat bland, but he makes up for it by repeatedly punching people in the gut and hitting them in the head with pipes. Fair trade.

@Outrider: It's more of a big deal when you consider the market for PC games. There are a lot of people who find it inhibiting to research tech specs, upgrade computers, and deal with hardware differences to play games on a PC, even if the results are good. This way, if PCs were guaranteed at least some more uniform

@SP-Butters: Yep, the price will come down at some point, and hopefully soon. Suppose 3D is an industry-wide endeavor anyhow. Was impressed with Sony's online service options very much.
