So does that make it the highest-charting official game soundtrack ever, at least for Billboard USA? Looking for info but can't find much. I'd figure that a few other OSTs might have placed, like a GTA music comp or the Hans Zimmer score to MW2. Anyone happen to know?

@Skaarg: Indeed. This is some basic figures for album and individual track sales for the same week that Halo: Reach was released. In one day, Halo: Reach racked up more in sales than the entire SoundScan-tracked music catalog. Also, it was the fewest albums sold in a week since they began to tally that figure.

@Mad-Hobo: You're just not visualizing the smoke bomb I threw on the ground and hearing the eerie theremin that began to play from an unseen location. o_o

Somewhere a mad scientist is making an army of these and plotting a takeover...

@Chestnut Bowl: Like many people in the spotlight, probably a mixed bag of being happy with peoples interests and sad that privacy comes at more of a premium. Then again, with an idol group, there's probably some essence of being creeped out by being looked up to, or when fans are just acting creepy. And from what

I can respect that. But then most people will be pleased if you get to chop evil ninjas/beasties to bits with a functioning camera.

Good on Team Meat for the proactive loop hole usage. Just hope taunting MS like that doesn't result in some kind of heavy-handed but silent retribution. I can see it now: "Super Meat Boy, now exclusive to Linux!" Well, maybe not that drastic (can't ban a company from using an operating system...), but taunting the

I still use my Dreamcast from time to time, but if it looked like any of these (particularly 1 or 2), that thing would be on far more often. Because those designs are HOT.

@thegooseking: Fair enough of an argument: what a word means over generations and its root origins are a whole world of study, and I don't expect that many would go to that degree in rationalizing a usage or not, though it puts into perspective the insignificance of a single instance of a word's usage.

@Synboi: But if that is the accusation you wish to label on the homosexual community, isn't it a double standard? You're right, language does change for good and bad reasons over time, and a lot of that went into why the word exists, such as the many other harsh associations adopted concurrently in the past. For

@HobbitGamer: And I love R.O.B., but that's not the point. What's wrong with packaging games with systems? After I bought the NES, most of them came with Super Mario Bros., which in my book is a good value. It can only add value.

@HobbitGamer: If it works once, why not again? I'm a fan of titles with my systems, having started with the NES that came with Duck Hunt and Gyromite. I remember when they started releasing systems without pack-in games, and it made happy to at least get Wii Sports when buying a Wii. Actually, simple or not, I like

@HobbitGamer: That is one thing I won't deny: the tech that goes into Milo is groundbreaking. If it could work reliably, it would be an achievement. Don't think it could make for a Wii Sports type of demanded experience without some major changes, though. Wii Sports wasn't packed with the system in Japan and still

@darkboy1200: Even digital download games cost money to make and distribute, though not as much, and probably lest costly since its from MS themselves. Then again, not saying that's why this was canceled. Suppose it'll have to be a "wait and see," as it's still a rumor.

@domhnall: Yep, that probably had something to do with it, too. :) Even if they added a little girl, it seems a bit creepy from the get-go, innocent-minded intent or not. Perhaps Microsoft doesn't believe in the pedo-market viability. ... heh, pedo-market...

Even if this works as intended, and even if it was completed and released, would it be all that marketable? That's probably the big question Microsoft had. Awesome tech, but at the end of the day, maybe they didn't see it as selling to a lot of people?

@Troublehalf: Deal with both parts of this rant (which wasn't as much a rant as some well-meant thinking):

Those are great. Always thought it would be awesome to have wood-crafted giant Tetris pieces. Or just Tetris furniture.
