Been hit with plenty of racquetballs but the only time I ever got hit by a racquet was when I hit myself. I’ve dinged my non-hitting forearm plenty of times and spun my racquet up into my teeth once, trying to dig a ball out of my stomach. Had to go see my dentist for that one.

Poor choice. Canning Jurgen is a mistake; hiring Arena compounds that mistake. We are years away from being a power in international soccer. Jurgen had us on the right track big picture-wise. Arena will not move us forward and may undo some of the good work done in the last few years.

I disagree that it’s a down Premier League year. Lots of competition in the top half of the table. Plus, it’s too early in the season to say that it’s a down year. Barely started, really.

Beets are amazing food! Roasted with some five spice on them, they are awesome. Also, only the red ones do that to you, the golden ones don’t. I love how ugly the red ones are, then you peel them and they are this gorgeous color, so gray on the outside, so red and glorious on the inside.

I play Disc Golf; great sport but little to no interest in watching it on tv. Related- it is a far better sport than ultimate, especially if you’re old and semi-fat.

Thanks for showing love to my home state; which hasn’t gotten a lot lately, rightfully so, due to our idiotic governor/legislature. The parkway is gorgeous; from family outings when I was a kid to fishing trips as an adult, it has always been a joy.
