SORRY! I GOT HERE LATE!
Fun fact: Keir Dullea is running in place this whole time while the spaceship is the thing that is rotating.
Tommy Lee truly is Dr. Feelgood.
That’s alot of money. I’m scared...
I’ve been thinking on this too....I think the difference between The Man in the High Castle and Confederate (besides the former at least being based on a novel) is how much more ashamed we are of our past. On the Amazon show, it’s “the bad guys won” but there was still a fantasy aspect in the back of an American…
these two mayonnaise clowns
I still don’t understand the rage over Confederate. Was it just because it was these two bozos behind the project? If it were two competent writers, would people have been properly intrigued? A project like this could have something interesting to say about our modern political and racial climate.
We do have a TV show…
I gave D&D as much vitriol and disappointment as anyone here for the last two seasons of Game of Thrones, when it was all said and done. Honestly, I’m still not over it.

I actually deeply cared about characters and plot lines (especially this bizarre bond that draws each member of the Boys together). On a number of occasions, I was also really pleasantly s…
I agree with some of your points but didn’t want to write five paragraphs in an effort to be concise initially, to what exactly they’d have to do. It’s an adaptation, so no kidding they would have to change some things, expand some things, and drop some others. That goes without saying and I was being a bit hyperbolic…
Exactly..
*long sigh*
At this point, I’m not alarmed. Considering the producers’ experience, the amount of experienced and qualified oversight and support is unprecedented. As long as the writer’s room has a quality staff and they don’t try and get in the way, this could still be fine. We’ll see..
