All I have to say is...

The fact that the diminished quality of season 2 can be attributed to how it was rushed out, on the popularity that season 1 generated— I like you enjoyed season 2 more than most— has been historically established.

I’m in, for sure. Season 2 was not as good as season 1. That’s a fact. We know that. However, I still found Season 2 completely entertaining and enjoyed watching every ‘sode. I know, I’m probably just easily entertained.

Based on everything I seen (and I’ve seen a lot of live streams and analysis), Fallout 76 in it’s current state is a hard pass for me, which breaks my heart.

My joke that it’s called Fallout 76 because that is going to be its Metacritic score is quite the hit at cocktail parties, let me tell you.

What’s weird to me about people saying “Wait and see” is that, from playing the Beta, it feels finished. It’s not glitchy, all the features seem to be implemented, every system is in place. And the parts of it that turn me off aren’t the kind of thing that can be patched out; Bethesda’s not going to drop a Day One…

I’ve been dubious about FO 76 since day one and every YouTube, press and beta first impression I’ve heard so far has been cautious at best. If the point of such a publicised public trial was to drum up interest for a product before launch (and that launch is now two weeks away), then it feels like Bethesda have shit…

The celebration footage was the best thing about this two episode set.

This episode – especially all the real life celebration footage at the end – was so clearly McElhenny’s love letter to his city that even I, a born and raised Masshole of 25 years, teared up a little. 

I’ve seen some negative responses to Cavill’s look in this clip, and I’d just like to point out that this looks like raw or unfinished test footage. I think it’s a massive understatement that judging this right now is premature.
