Here come the “except me” teenagers

Thanks for your serious and well thought out reply to my silly throw-away one-liner joke.

I haven’t seen one, so I’m pretty sure it’s invisible too.

So I was talking to Mr. Martin, Lockheed, great guy. Terrific guy. Plays a great game of golf. 4 handicap, mine’s 0, by the way. Great guy, though. We were talking about the F-35, and I told him, I told him, “Lockheed, many people are saying that this is a terrible plane. Too much money, it’s coming too late is what

Shouldn’t be surprised after a year, but.....

Somebody better tell him cloaking devices vere banned by the Treaty of Algeron.

I, for one, believe it is invisible. What are we paying for?

This. It’ll cover collision damage to normal vehicles of an average age, but once bodily injury is involved it’s an entirely different ballgame.

This is the way it should be. Here in the US if you get caught without insurance they typically just write you a ticket and send you on your way. So you can crash into someone on your way home, then try to run and end up hitting more cars in your attempt to leave, causing multiple people to have to file claims with

Wish the cops here were more diligent about checking insurance. I had my truck totalled by a guy who had signed up, paid his first month and never made a payment again - a common scam to allow license renewal, etc.. So he had a card, but it was worthless. The police have easy access to systems that verify coverage.

Then it shouldn’t be on public roads where a tow truck can grab it.

As an American, this doesn’t seem like nanny state bullshit at all.

If there is one practical application for Police license scanners. This is it. I wish we would be aggressive against uninsured motorists in the U.S. I hate having to carry extra coverage on my insurance because of the negligence of someone else.

Run the plates. Shows registration and insurance does it not?

It’s on the MID database. Police will also call insurance companies to verify- it can take a few days for records to update for example.

Would you take it over a M240 xdrive ?
