Indeed McLaren engineering is on a different level to the competition.

You appear to have a bias against anything English and as you’ve said you don’t want to do any research to form an informed opinion, so there’s not much else to say other than have a good day.

There a guy near me (south coast of England) who often drives his kids to school in a tank, not much surprises me and damn it’s loud!

It’s very tired as a joke and as it goes Lucas were really no worse than the competition of the time although it seems cars with Lucas electrics survived for a lot longer (usually in sought after British sports cars) and as such they get a lot of mentions.

Is it 1972 again? As it goes the electronics are german I believe.

Automotive history and past/present motorsport development would disagree with your opinion.

The new car looks amazing! (To a Brit at least).

I’ve been in lots of these cars, mad, mad things that make the most amazing noises!

Reliability of these cars is very good. They are of a simple design using well proven parts.

McLaren 720s?

It reminds me of the old Vauxhall Zafira GSI which had the 2.0 turbo engine from the Astra turbo. It was nippy in standard form but they were famed for the ease of turning up the boost that released a lot more power.

The Audi is parked on a residential street which is a two way road with no passing lane.

What do you mean bud? England has the second safest roads in the world.

It’s not a passing lane, it’s a two lane road and as long as there are no double yellow lines, it’s perfectly legal and normal to park on the road, it’s ultra common here.

This will probably cost her job.

Fines are based on earnings here.

First offence where nobody is hurt usually results in a long ban and a fine based upon earning (hence the low value which is in keeping with a corsa owner).

Actually in the typically British way, they choose to do something very logical even if many other countries didn’t. There’s many reasons why British roads are the second safest in the world.

Nah, I also live on the coast and that isn’t normal, not in the slightest.

If you’re driving the 720s with electric aids switched off at anything more than 50% effort you need to be an experienced driver and paying a lot of attention.
