This is what always gets me. They could make money just selling cost plus 50%. I mean a Nexus 1 at $300-350 would have sold like crazy. And put more phones out there, in more hands, building wider awareness of brand, and generating higher revenues from search and ads.

@LombardoJoe: Gizmodo explained this in the past. The answer is neither. GheyT&T pays the full price. They lose money till the 18th month I think. But the remaining 4 is where they make profit.

Who cares? Tegra2 Android tablets are where I'll be looking. Archos 70/101, if they had a refresh version with better screen/more ram/same price point then I'd purchase without a doubt. Without seeing in person, then I can't really pull the trigger on the current models.
