From what I’ve read, you will miss it. But if you have someone else around that can play the game with you, the convenience/fun of the entire game being co-op more than makes up for it. It was one of my favorite games last year.

I play this game with my family via Xbox One’s backwards compatibility. Pretty sure it would run on Switch no problem...

Not sure why everyone is so surprised. Nintendo loves offering cool Mario shit and then taking it away. This is just the first time where they actually have a good reason.

Are you allowed to talk about the game’s online functionality? I’ve given up hope they will incorporate Labo support (or knowing Nintendo they’ll patch it in months after I’ve 100%-ed the game and traded it in) but I really, really want to see weekly challenges and themed events that change up the gameplay.

PSA: Battle for the Grid is a way more solid fighting game than its low-res backgrounds would have you believe. Definitely worth checking out on GamePass, atleast.
