Jesus I forgot. I literally thought Nacho might get killed tonight. When he was dropping off Lalo there was a tense scene where you could tell something was going to happen, and it is certainly possible Lalo is putting some pieces together on or off screen that made him suspicious of Nacho. It’s even possible that

That final scene was so incredibly tense because unlike most shows where everybody has plot armor, these characters I care about were in real jeopardy. I truly believe that if in the writers room they thought Lalo hurting or killing Kim would be the decision he would make, he would pull that trigger. Hell I even

Saul not using his lightning powers during the shootout is a huge plot hole.

It was really good for sure. I was maybe a little less engaged than I would’ve liked to be, because while the prequelness of this show so often works in it’s favor putting Mike or Saul into life and death scenarios is the one time the prequelness works hard against it. IMO

On one hand they really hammered the whole “Jimmy might regret this” thing with the water before and after he got stranded, on the other hand I think they really wanted us to know and dread what was coming for Jimmy.

Yeah, I liked this moment a lot. Sometimes things feel on the nose but when I talk to others I’m often

Every episode is a bottle episode if you make your bottle big enough.

That’s what happens when Mike is super dehydrated.

Yeah I was confused thinking Eminem was about to start. Would have been one of the weirdest song choices in the shows history. I’d much more expect a Spanish acoustic version of “My Name Is...”

Considering how on point Mike is about literally everything I’m surprised he didn’t talk about how the bags would tear. Something like “A bag made of that material carrying that much weight will tear a hole big enough for the cash to fall out in the next 0.72 miles.”

Him making sure to get the mug was such a great character moment and something most shows would ignore. They’d have the character “forget” the mug just to play the sadness/metaphor of it being gone later.

Totally disagree. What we saw there was full Jimmy. There was no con to be made there because Howard was acting authentically and compassionately and that’s something Saul has no protocol for. Indeed, he finds it deeply upsetting because he has already chosen “the dark side” so the idea that people can be decent and

It’s too bad shows like Mythbusters don’t run forever. Because they had a breaking bad episode and definitely would’ve done a BCS one too.

It did seem almost short-sighted of Mike to put Lalo in prison only to be surprised he can still do things from inside. Maybe the plan was always to lock him up and then force him to flee to Mexico, idk.

One wonders if the judge would’ve thought it suspicious at all. I wonder if the opposing council could’ve asked Lalo to name his wife or some details he’d know about the family. I don’t know how the law works when it comes to fake families.

Why are we all calling him “Herr Schuller”? I checked the wiki, isn’t his name Peter? Is it some kind of German joke I’m not getting? Or do they call him that in the episode?

I wonder if Huell thinks he and Jimmy are friends.

I have my own conclusions about the line between Jimmy and Saul. I feel so strongly about them that I’m trying to make a video essay explaining it, but who knew those things are hard to make and take a while? :(

Maybe not explicitly but my brain annoying fills in gaps like “well we haven’t scene X with person Y yet, and we know that’s coming so I bet Z is going to happen now.”

Ok, I think you are right. But it’s a little weird alibi, “I couldn’t have been involved, I was at work” most cops wouldn’t expect him to be there directly. Maybe it’s a mix of that and what Blaffair said is that he didn’t like what was going on and channeled that into something he could control OCD cleanliness.

In the video they never claim any of those things. They have actors who say “my bank” over text that says “ACTOR PORTRAYAL BASED ON ACTUAL INCIDENTS OR FICTION.”. At the end Saul comes on and asks a question. Yes they could get it thrown out, but likely at very great cost, and the video could leak anyway.
