lol. Didn’t think of it that way.

I don’t think she’s doing it to be mean, I think it comes from a place of that she does get a thrill over standing up to the world and getting away with it. And with Lalo she just got her biggest high yet.

Regrettably I agree. There is a thing Vince had said about Breaking Bad. “We didn’t want Walt to win by making Gus dumber”. Unfortunately it feels like in this episode, that’s what they did with the writing.

I do think Kim was going far, but I also think it comes from a place of “Jimmy is basically breaking up with me, the only way I can pull him back in is to become like him more.”

Yes but with Prequel vision we know their fates are still up in the air in 4 years. So I’m guess Lalo goes into “I’m never getting blindsided again” mode and plays his next moves VERY slow and delibrate.

Maybe Kim is the one who knocks..

Howard is my spirit animal. He is too pure for this world.

I’m starting to get confused why when you have a 6.3 season show that’s supposed to cover pre and post BB how are you still 4 years before BB 5 seasons in? It would’ve been fun to see at least 1 BB ep from Sauls pov. But there’s no time for any of it. Is Gene even going to get a single episode to himself?

If it wouldn’t seem like a pointless lose thread I could see Lalo still being alive and Gus being wrong. Maybe it’s Lalo who catches up with Jimmy in the future. Gus has been a little sloppy this season.

I’m scared for Howard. Him and Huell are the only pure souls in this world.

We don’t know Lalo is dead.

Dalton is amazing, and he brings in real menace. But like, what aside from inferences tell us he’s actually “Twisted and Cruel” like that?

That was the weakest link in the episode for me. Both Gus and Mike can be way smarter than that. If they didn’t care about there being a scene that might raise eyebrows (which they clearly didn’t) then why not just put Mike with a sniper rifle in a hot air balloon or something and have him do it.

What’s crazy is a guy like that with such menace’s weakness is actually his playful friendly side. Even though he uses his playfulness to intimidate part of him truly wants to be buddies with everybody. It’s not just an act, it’s a character trait.

I didn’t make that connection, but yeah. Kim’s bang bang was her “look, I’m just like you” moment.

The trouble is that Jimmy did recommend Nacho to be the bagman, so Lalo might think they are friendly (which they are).

Maybe Nacho doesn’t want to do that because the last “bullets just for show” he got from Gus hurt like hell.

I hope not. If they use Vacuum repair again it will legitimately feel like lazy writing. Like the deflector dish in Star Trek Voyager, it’s just the bs you go use when you don’t know how else to solve the plot.

I think he means compared to something like Game of Thrones or Walking Dead. If this were Walking Dead, Kim would’ve gotten an arrow through the head mid conversation at the hotel.

What amazes me about this show is how it challenges the viewer to sympathize and fear maybe the wrong people.
