Was there any damn reason Maddie wanted to call Luis (the guy who recently saved her family) an asshole?

The answer to the hood thing: Team boat did it because their entire plan required it, and team Connor did it because the writers didn't want only team boat having a hood because that would invite the audience to wonder why Connor doesn't ask "why the fuck does he have a hood over his head?"

I assumed she was lying too, but I thought it was so stupid that he could never possibly believe it. Apparently I was wrong.

But imagine the glorious episode when they all die for being stupid.

I wonder how many of the HS boys came to her with made up problems.

I keep saying: Think of this show as like a comedy movie about parents who have to put up with insufferable children but instead of parents it's Strand and instead of whiny children it's everybody else.

They will abandon you! Just like how they abandoned a stranger! Because I don't understand how human relationships work!

She was mad at Travis not Strand because Strand wasn't on the boat so she couldn't have asked for him to be taken by Connor, information she would not have known. It was basically the writers moving around character pieces and deciding Travis had to fill in for Strand.

    At least we've got Strand!

You were afraid you were the only one found her attractive?

I still don't get what mind games were going on with the steak. Was Connor trying to be nice? And if so was pregnant lady being insubordinate when she took the steak? Also, I'll just come out and say it: I don't think this show is willing to have the good guys kill a pregnant bad guy. Not that they should, just that

Still, teen daughter being abducted by society of young men, there's a lot to be worried about there. Unfortunately if TWD were more realistic sexual assault would probably be a much bigger concern. Just remember how casually a lot of these people murder. Horny men without morals are not a place I'm chill with a teen

Like what shows? The characters are really dumb for a "serious-ish drama" that's all it is. SoA rightfully got similar bad grades/reviews and Dexter, which was for a while considered "prestige" ultimately got so much worse grades/reviews

    "I'mma take your grandad's style… I'mma take your grandad's style"

True, but he did need more logical sense than anybody but Strand on this show has ever shown.

He was the only character other than StrandCo that I've liked.

No, they've done a crap job. But think how the plain took off as it was just kicking in (most passengers on the plane didn't know about it) and the plain survivors weren't out there that long, so I'm thinking this has got to be less than 2 months since the plain take off, likely even less than 1 month.

    Few thoughts:
    1. Probably the best episode yet.
    2. Shout out to the reviewer for the Paul Harvey reference
    3. Anti-shout outs to the reviewer for acting like anybody is at all valid in trying to abandon Strand. He's the only one keeping any of them alive. This is an entitled ass family considering how they treat the

Is that just an elaborate set-up for when he inevitably gets eaten?

Once you stop thinking of them as heroes or likable, or supposed to be in any way smart the show gets a little better.
