Because it’s not a 1 minute job. There are lots of things that have to be done for even simple cautions to make them fair for all the teams. That’s why F1's virtual safety car is so great. Have debris on track? VSC for 30 seconds while a marshall runs out, gets the debris, comes back.

And he was the worst driver out of the 4. I know he’s not used to driving in the rain, but the other three drove out of their mind to keep them up front.

Actually they’re greasiest where the traditional racing line is, because the water pools up on top of the rubber instead of seeping into the concrete.

No they wont. It’ll be like the Audi’s for a couple years, where they really don’t have any competition.

What are you, 12? We’ve got 6 Fords now, and have had Ford products for as long as I can remember. We should be getting one too then! It’s an exceptionally limited vehicle, obviously some folks aren’t going to make the cut. Get over it.

I really loved NASCAR as a kid. But once I got to 12-13, I started realizing how much BS it was that a caution just happened to come out for debris every race with 15 laps to go. It was very short thereafter I stopped watching for good.

You should. At least catch the last few hours of the Daytona 24 on Sunday (they’ll have recaps so you can catch up on the race events). IMSA has spectacular fields, a wide variety of cars and tracks, and some really good racing. It’s got it’s negatives too, namely Balance of Performance issues, but overall it’s a

I use that entirely too much for it not to go crazy responding. And oh man, if it ever had in-car integration, I’d wear it out Day 1.

Hey, baby, you’re a lot of woman, wanna make 14 Yen the hard way?

They’re not missing it, they just don’t care.

How the hell did you get that out of what I said?

Never watched C-SPAN a day in my life, but it still doesn’t mean you should be ignorant and not look into any facts.

I didn’t say it was pointless to try to get people involved in any way, shape, or form. I just said it’s unnecessary to have a reminder since there will be a constant 6 months of reminders leading up to the elections. You seem to be reading an awful lot into what I didn’t say.

Do you just stay at home in the dark? There’s roadside signs, billboards, ads on TV, YouTube, other parts of the Internet, news articles, and on and on and on and on.

I didn’t discourage it, I just think it’s a lazy article. If you don’t realize an election is coming up, you’re so uneducated about the facts that you probably shouldn’t vote anyway.

Ham seems like a lot of his social media presence is created by his PR team. Looking past the instagram photos, tweets, w/e; he seems like he really has a lot of fun with his adventures. He’d probably be quite fun to be around when the cameras are off. Vettel would be a hilarious night at the pub too.

Really? No matter how hard you try, you couldn’t possibly avoid knowing that an election is going on. It’s a non-stop barrage of ads, articles, and rants 24/7 across all platforms for the months leading up to elections. Mid-term elections have never had the turnout of the Presidentials.

The German cars are also twice as much. Nothing wrong with the way it is now. Retains simplicity and lower weight.

It’s the things like that, that Christian does that make him one of the coolest people in the auto, or any other business. I’d love to sit down with him over a pint, and just listen to his stories. He’s so passionate about his products, the research his group is doing, and the future he sees.

100% agreed. I don’t care if they whore out everything else NASCAR style, I don’t want some completely stupid race name (again like NASCAR), that doesn’t belong with the elite nature of F1.
