Even uncured bacon still has nitrates in it. It’s just cured with nitrates from celery instead of sodium nitrate/pink curing salt. According to the CDC, curing doesn’t consistently kill parasites.

I can’t stand crispy bacon, but this guy took it several steps too far.

You have to cook bacon VERY lightly to not raise the temperature high enough that it kills errant wildlife. I’m talking just warm enough to start the fat melting. And that sounds like an absolutely gross way to eat bacon. I like my bacon with some chew to it, but come on now.

It cannot be overstated how much the Dragon Ball franchise has influenced the Black community. Pretty much every Black nerd started with DBZ, and even a lot of the non-nerds have fond memories of it. The story of the underdog who perseveres through anything and has no idea of his heritage really resonates with Black

The story referenced is, but Hank Green’s video where he found it is from 2 or 3 days ago.

Porsche’s paint-to-sample catalog has a LOT of non-metallic colors. My favorite is Mexico Blue.

The concept of a FWD car with a longitudinally mounted engine still kind of breaks my brain to this day. I mean, why? What are the benefits?

You can get current model Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tuscon PHEV’s easy for around $35k-$38k with around 30k miles. My mom and my mother-in-law have one each, and they didn’t even have to consult the family car enthusiast to find one.

Transverse mounted V6's especially. Had a 2010 Ford Fusion with the 3.oL V6, and changing the spark plugs made me question all of my life choices up until that point.

TIL that Lexus still makes the ES. I was completely convinced that they would have discontinued it when Toyota gave the Avalon the boot.

I think you’re mistaking it for the Discovery Sport. The current full sized Disco is on the same platform as the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.

I think you can STILL get into the current Disco for the price of a loaded Explorer. As for the Germans and oil consumption, it’s not unique to them anymore. As more cars go with direct injection, oil consumption becomes more of an issue. Ask Hyundai/Kia.

Mazda’s safety features have always lagged behind. Being a small-ish manufacturer (compared to Honda and Toyota), they have to compromise in some aspects, and it’s usually driver assistance features and infotainment.

If the corners get a little tighter on the freeway, I do notice mine (2018 6) can latch onto the cars in other lanes, depending on which direction we’re turning.

This is an excellent point that I sometimes forget about. I’ve been playing since D1 year 2, so I’ve experienced the whole story as it happened. The new player experience for D2 is absolutely TERRIBLE. They need to make all the old expansions AND seasonal content into optional downloads. Just making the expansions

From a business perspective, live-service games is a great idea, but there has to be something for players to sink their teeth into. A reason to keep coming back. Either a compelling ongoing narrative and MMO/RPG elements like WOW/Destiny 2/Final Fantasy XIV, or a hardcore competitive scene like Fortnite/Apex/COD/CS.

Destiny 2 is arguably the best story driven live service game, and it’s the only live service game that I play, and it’s almost PURELY to experience the story. I think unless the game is SOLELY focused on competitive play, or has a very compelling story, it’s going to fail as a live service game. There has to be a

Everyone agrees the Saft Punk score is fantastic. So is the art direction.

2018 Mazda 6, has dual zone climate control. The blower motor just isn’t STRONG enough. It’s not so bad now that I’m no longer living in the desert, but after baking in the sun for a while, it just takes too long to fully cool down. Ventilated seats do certainly help, especially with leather seats.
