This article made me feel like a dumbass.

This article is confusing. On one hand it’s saying BMW is going to kill the manual because more and more customers over time are opting for slushboxes...yet half the M2s sold are with 3 pedals and they’re *introducing* 3 pedals onto the Z4.
Something is weird here. The article quotes a BMW board member as saying the…
And looking at the photo again, that actually might be a Super Decathalon
yeah, I mean the more I think about it - even taxiing in a tail dragger is tricky. Never done it myself, but I once rode in the back of a buddy’s Super Decathalon and he had to zig zag down the taxiway.
He had to have had some sort of flight training. Landing a plane is tricky enough, landing a tail dragger...on sand...impressive.
Man, if they’re going to bring the E-Wing back to canon, where are our TIE Defenders?
Some wildlife expert was quoted on WBEZ (the local NPR station) that it was likely a squirrel that fell out of a tree and probably not a rat, but that it’s totally feasible that this is the actual imprint of an animal.
we really only have it for the shopping. and even then we’re starting to move away. not because they’re a crappy company (which they can be) but because more and more of our staples simply aren’t available anymore, or aren’t available via Prime.
But they are available at our local Target or Jewel (Albertsons for the…
We’ll see.
I was a launch customer for SNES, N64, and GC. Then the Wii came along and after 9 months I got so fed up of not being able to find one I skipped it *and* the Wii U
I was planning on ignoring the Switch for the same reasons, but received one as a gift and now I’m hooked again.
That said, I have a very low…
I’ve ridden motorcycles, and I’ve ridden high speed trains. Not sure the thrill is quite there with the train (but they’re hella comfortable). As stated earlier, a better bet is just more access to race tracks.
I went through the rest of the list. “Great” is not the word I would use here. The Mini Cooper and ATS notwithstanding.
But a nostalgia shout out to the Beretta Z26 and Dodge Daytona. They weren’t great at all, but were the envy of my high school parking lot
“Here are some great coupes you probably forgot existed”

wut?
Not only is the QX60 better looking, but it has also more modern tech and a much more fuel-efficient drive train.
But when you’re shopping for a full-size body-on-frame SUV (because reasons), the QX60 does not fall into that category.
Speaking specifically to the QX80, there aren’t many vehicles that compete in that space. The GMT siblings, the Ford T3 platform siblings, the Sequoia/Lexus LX. I’m not sure it’s fair to include the Mazda or Hyundai/Kia in that group - they’re either a class or 1/2 a class down
We test drove an Expedition Platinum and…
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again:
Infiniti is the Dollar General of luxury brands, and that’s ok.
I shop at Dollar General, and I own a QX80 (technically it’s my wife’s) and I get 75% of the value/quality at 50% of the cost.
Not necessarily. The hero image shows an E93. I had to upgrade from a G35 Coupe 6MT because I had 3 kids in car seats, and I successfully went to an E90 M-Sport.
The back seat accepted 3 Diono low-profile (and FAA certified) car seats and later I was able to go to 2 high backed boosters and an open seat in the middle.
*N…
I have a QX80. It doesn’t get 15 mpg. More like 13.
I feel like the premise of this article is bullshit. Maybe the retailers consider self-checkout to be a disaster but from where I’m standing as a consumer it’s been amazing. I don’t often come across stores that do *not* have self-checkout, but when I do, I get irritated AF because while the store might have 7-8…
To be fair, even ICE vehicles have been struggling in this weather. The neighbor’s kids have to keep their cars in the driveway and this morning they barely cranked over.
Although they *did* eventually crank over.
I’ve had a 2nd gen QX50 as a dealership loaner (I’m on my 4th Infiniti: feel free to judge)
It was...disappointing. Mostly the powertrain. The turbo-4 is underpowered and sounds miserable while the CVT is straight trash.
They should bring back the VQ37 and the 7AT gearbox.
